Child Rights Development Foundation advocates to end violence against children in all its forms. In our efforts, we address a variety of child protection concerns like eliminating child labor, violence in communities, homes and schools, elimination of child marriage.
CRIDEF is sparking this through a series of interventions like documentation of grave abuse against children such as sexual abuse, corporal punishments, child neglect. Visiting stone quarrying areas, plantations and fishing communities to ascertain involvement of children in these activities, monitoring how laws are being applied and advocating for better child protection, legislation and structures, contribute to strengthening capacity of police and other state authorities responsible for safe guarding children and finally raising awareness on the risks of exploitation of children
