CRIDEF provides psycho-social support in a broad ray of issues for instance psycho-social support to children, women and girls, adolescent boys and girls, victims of Sexual and Gender Based Violence among others.
Approaches in this include advocacy on keeping schools open and accessible as a key psycho-social response in keeping normalcy among children, classroom based initiatives with psycho-social components to reduce stigma and improve self-esteem, mentoring teachers to help children, peer to peer dialogues in schools and communities and programs to support school based and community counselors work with individuals and groups of severely affected persons.
